Dew Drop Academy app for iPhone and iPad

Dew Drop Academy uses advanced flashcard techniques to teach students objects, colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and simple words.

The student will hear the word spoken and select the image of what that word means. With errorless teaching and positive verbal reinforcement, students are encouraged to continue to learn.

Dew Drop Academys artificial intelligence constantly tracks how quickly the student is learning, and adjusts the difficulty up or down so that the student is never overly challenged nor finds it too slow. The application also reviews words the student has previously mastered to ensure long-term memory of each word. The teacher may review what words the student has learned, how quickly the student is learning each word, and the overall speed of learning.

This application has no advertisements. No usage information ever leaves the device, and Dew Drop Academy works without internet access.

Included for free are libraries for objects, colors, and some sight words. With three images each, this is more than 300 flashcards. Libraries for shapes, numbers, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and many more sight words are available for purchase.

Dew Drop Academy was started and illustrated by the mother of a child named Elijah, who has developmental delays and is on the autism spectrum. Elijahs occupational therapist designed the flashcard system based on the latest science and his own experience, and the application was developed by Elijahs uncle. 10% of purchases are donated to charities that support children with developmental delays.
